Cats AND Dogs

ave you seen the new movie Cats AND Dogs? I find it so wonderful!! It is very interesting. I really enjoyed. I have a tip: watch it at night with popcorn, sweets and coke.

Well I’ll tell you what happens. So there are dogs, cats, people and a very funny pigeon. So the most of the animals are against a very horrid cat. Well I am not going to tell you the rest because than you are not going to watch it.

My favorite part is when the horrible cat did not succeed her wicked plan against the dogs. The really funny part is when the pigeon says ‘I will hold your hand big baby,’ to the dog.

I recommend this film to children above 6 and adults younger than 65.

My Invention

My invention is a car made out of paper mache. It was very difficult to make at first, but then it became easier to make afterwards.

The research we did was first for a logo and a car that we would make. But unfortunately we couldn’t make the car with plastecene and then when we nearly gave up making the car Jack got a paper mache car and a remote car’s remote and the engine with the rims attached to it. We tried to fix the car made out paper mache onto the lower part of the car. It was difficult because the upper car seemed to be bigger than the lower one. We managed and then I started fixing the car’s remote as it was spoilt. We then started painting the car and once we were done, we tested it. It was awesome, but we didn’t want to waste the car’s battery and we didn’t want to waste time either. Then we started setting our board and finishing the paper work. We were just finishing the work keeping in mind the great day was arriving. Now, the great day had arrived and we were going to be asked questions first. We did a good job and we got 9 marks out of 10 and we were happy.

MY INVENTION

Our invention is a water powered car. It looks quite good but it would’ve looked better if we painted it. This is how we made it:

Ø We got a piece wood which length is 1meter and width 0.5 meter.

Ø Got four wooden wheels and the wooden excel.

Ø Screwed them with screws.

Ø Nailed each of the wheels in each corner of the wood.

Ø Got a bottle holder and put 3 bottles in each hole of the bottle holder using duck tape.

Ø Glued it with a glue gun in front the back wheels.

Ø Next we got a flat thermo cool and glued it with a glue gun and duck tape in front of the bottle holder

Ø We got a pump and a straw

Ø Put the straw in the pump hole.

Ø We also made holes in the bottles.

Ø And cut a triangular shaped wood and nailed it at the front of the car.

Ø And lastly 2 right angular piece of wood.

Finally our car was made.

It looked fantastic.

Violet Raines Almost Got Struck by Lighting

I first purchased ‘Violet Raines Almost Got Struck by Lighting’ in the summer of 2008 at a school book fair. After reading the whole book, | had to say that my best interest in it was the fact that it had know illustrations or photos so that I can imagine myself what the characters and the setting could look like. My second and last was the way that the author kind of felt like she was in Violet’s shoes, feeling the same jealousy as Violet. This book was so good that I couldn’t help but just read 2 more times! The second time I could understand the book a bit better because it was in ’08 that I first read it and then in ’09 when I read it again I was a bit more mature to understand some of the dares in the book. The third time I read it, I could only get halfway through the book because apparently, the last night I read it and I placed it under my pillow, the Tooth Fairy must’ve mistaken it for a tooth!

Anyway, my favorite par of the book was the fact that when the Melissa Gold made Violet so jealous because not only did she steal so called ‘Charlotte’ as a best friend but then Eddie didn’t have any interest at ALL in Violet. That just made the novel juicier than juice itself! If I were writing this story, I would make it a series and at the end of the first book, I wouldn’t make them friends again at the end of the book. I say this because in Violet Raines Almost Got Struck by Lighting’s main idea of it is the fact that there’s drama and if they just all suddenly forget about all of the feud at the book and become friends, it kind of gets less exciting every time you see the book.

Above all, violet Raines almost got struck by lighting was a great book and if I were to make a wish, I would say that I wish I could find that absolutely magnificent fantastic book of mine!!
